Who we are

A company started at the scene of a crash

Iris Mobility was founded in Richardson, Texas by three friends who witnessed a pedestrian crash firsthand — and couldn't stop asking why nothing had seen it coming. The patterns were there: the near-misses, the speeding, the drivers who never yielded. Nobody was watching.

"Using data to prevent crashes and protect lives — that's what we want to do for the communities of America."

Today, that conviction powers two products built on one perception engine: a traffic intelligence platform helping cities reach Vision Zero, and a mobile surveillance trailer protecting the places fixed cameras can't. We're already working with cities across Texas and beyond.

Safety before surveillance

We build to prevent harm — crashes, theft, intrusions — not to punish people. Our city product is deliberately non-punitive: no tickets, no fines.

Perception with judgment

Our cameras don't just record. On-device AI classifies what it sees, reasons about what matters, and acts in seconds — day or night.

Evidence over footage

Hours of unwatched video help nobody. We deliver structured records, reports, and exports that engineers, insurers, and courts can actually use.

Our products

One perception engine. Two ways to deploy it.

The same on-device AI stack drives both products: it classifies what it sees, reasons about what matters, and acts in real time — whether that means flagging a near-miss at a crosswalk or talking an intruder off a job site at 2 AM.

Product 01 · Iris Crossing™ · B2G

Turn the cameras your city already owns into safety instruments.

IRIS sits on top of your existing intersection feeds and measures nine safety metrics per camera — continuously. Near-miss detection, speed, yield rates, signal performance. Grant- and council-ready reports, delivered.

The platform

Nine safety metrics, per camera, continuously.

Traditional intersection studies are episodic, expensive, and counts-only. IRIS replaces them with always-on computer vision — running on the cameras your city already owns.

01

Vehicle detection & tracking

Every car, truck, bus, pedestrian and cyclist — classified, counted, tracked across the whole intersection.

02

Approach speed

Per-lane speed distributions, 85th-percentile compliance, posted-limit violations — without speed guns or staff in the field.

03

Near-miss detection

Sub-second conflict events — the leading indicator of crashes. See risk before the crash report lands on your desk.

04

Pedestrian & cyclist safety

Crosswalk usage, yield rates, right-hook conflicts, illegal crossings — the vulnerable road users your plan is trying to protect.

05

Signal timing insight

Measure how current phases perform against real demand. Recommend retimings backed by weeks of continuous data.

06

Risk heatmap

Roll 9 safety metrics into one map of your city. Prioritize intersections by risk, not by complaint volume.

07

Classification mix

Understand who actually uses your streets — by hour, day, and season. Bus lanes, truck routes, micro-mobility: all measured.

08

Turning movement counts

Replace $1,500 manual studies with continuous, automated counts at every approach and exit.

09

Pedestrian clearance

Measure actual crossing times versus posted, for every crosswalk. Meet MUTCD and your ADA obligations.

How we fit

We sit on top of the infrastructure you already have.

No new poles. No new trenching. No rip-and-replace. IRIS plugs into your existing traffic cameras and runs either in our cloud or on a small box at the edge — your choice.

We pull your feeds over a secure VPN tunnel, run inference in our SOC-2 environment, and return clean structured data. Zero on-site hardware.

C

Or deploy on your edge.

For CJIS-sensitive or air-gapped networks, we drop a small NVIDIA-based edge box inside your network. Footage never leaves the building.

Grant & council ready

Reports the funder and the council actually read.

Every metric IRIS captures rolls into formats your team already has to produce — Safe Streets for All applications, Vision Zero action-plan updates, council briefings, TxDOT & FHWA reporting.

Product 02 · Iris Sentinel™ · B2B

A guard that never blinks, parked anywhere.

A solar-powered surveillance trailer with three 4K PTZ cameras, a 360° fisheye, and thermal imaging — driven by an agentic AI that watches, reasons, and speaks. Towed in, raised, and live in under ten minutes.

The hardware

One trailer. Every angle covered.

Sentinel is a self-contained perception platform: cameras, compute, power, deterrence, and connectivity on a single towable chassis. Hover the parts to see where they live.

Agentic AI

It doesn't record intruders. It talks them down.

When Sentinel classifies a person on your site at 2 AM, it doesn't wait for a human to check a feed. The onboard AI describes what it sees, addresses the intruder out loud by their appearance and position, fires the strobe, and decides whether to escalate — all within seconds.

Every event ends the same way: a time-stamped clip, a structured log entry, and a site that's still intact.

SENTINEL-04 · LIVE LOG
What it does

Six capabilities, one watchful unit

The same perception engine that powers our city platform, tuned for sites, lots, and campuses — and given a voice.

01

Agentic talk-down

The AI addresses intruders out loud — describing what they're wearing and where they're standing — and warns them off before damage is done.

02

License plate intelligence

Every vehicle entering the site is logged with plate, time, and direction — searchable instantly and exportable for law enforcement.

03

Crash detection + 911

On lots and access roads, Sentinel classifies collisions in real time and can escalate to emergency services with location and clip attached.

04

PPE compliance

Hard hats, vests, restricted zones: continuous monitoring that turns site-safety policy into measurable, enforceable reality.

05

Thermal night watch

Heat signatures don't need light. Sentinel sees people and vehicles in absolute darkness, smoke, and weather.

06

Forensic clip search

Ask in plain English — "white pickup at the south gate Thursday night" — and get the clip, not eight hours of footage.

Where it works

Built for the places fixed cameras can't reach

Copper, tools, and equipment walk off job sites every weekend. Sentinel makes the site the one that fights back.

Towed onto the pad on day one and repositioned as the build moves, Sentinel covers laydown yards, trailers, and fuel — with thermal watch after dark and talk-down the moment someone crosses the fence line. PPE monitoring keeps the day shift honest, too.

"Theft attempts stopped at the fence, not discovered Monday morning. One prevented equipment loss typically pays for the season."

Typical outcome · active job sites

Parking structures, loading docks, vacant suites — square footage no guard tour can cover.

Sentinel parks where the incidents happen and watches continuously: plates logged at every entrance, loiterers addressed by voice, incidents packaged as time-stamped evidence your insurer and counsel can actually use.

"A live deterrent presence at a fraction of the cost of overnight guards — with a paper trail that holds up."

Typical outcome · commercial portfolios

A lot full of keys, catalytic converters, and brand-new inventory is a target every single night.

Sentinel logs every plate that enters after close, locks PTZ onto anyone moving between rows, and talks them off the lot before a window breaks. Every approach becomes a searchable record.

Campuses are busiest exactly when staff aren't there: evenings, weekends, summers.

Sentinel watches fields, lots, and portables through every break — detecting vandalism and trespass as it starts, addressing it by voice, and handing administrators a clean morning report instead of a surprise.

From phone call to first watch in days

We deliver & deploy

We tow Sentinel to your site, position it for coverage, raise the mast, and verify every camera angle — typically in under ten minutes on the ground.

It watches & acts

From that moment the AI is on duty: classifying, deciding, deterring. Your team gets live access from any phone and alerts only when something matters.

You get the record

Daily site reports, plate logs, incident clips, and chain-of-custody-ready exports — plus our team maintaining the unit so you never have to.

Sites move. So does Sentinel.

When the job finishes or the risk shifts, we relocate the unit for you. One trailer can protect a whole portfolio over a year — no contracts tied to a single address.

How it works

From camera to decision in seconds

Whether it's mounted at an intersection or raised on a trailer mast, every Iris unit follows the same loop — and your team only ever sees the part that matters.

Perceive

4K, fisheye, and thermal cameras stream into an on-device vision model that classifies vehicles, people, equipment, and behavior in real time — no cloud round-trip required.

Reason & act

The AI weighs what it sees against the rules of the site: it flags a near-miss, reads a plate, or addresses an intruder out loud — and decides whether to escalate, all within seconds.

Report

Every event becomes a structured record: daily reports, risk heat maps, time-stamped clips, and exports ready for Vision Zero frameworks, insurers, and law enforcement.

Why Iris Mobility

Built to outwatch everything else on the market

Most camera systems collect footage and call it security. Iris was built on a different premise: a camera should perceive, reason, and act — and the record it produces should be useful the moment it's written.

Agentic, not passive

The AI doesn't wait for a human to review footage. It detects, describes, decides, and intervenes — talk-down, strobe, escalation — in seconds.

Truly turnkey

We deliver, install, configure, and maintain everything. Your team gets a live feed and a daily report, not a maintenance contract and a manual.

Evidence that holds up

Time-stamped exports, chain-of-custody-ready packets, and plate data in the formats agencies, insurers, and courts actually accept.

Honest economics

No trenching, no guards on payroll, no upfront cost on city pilots. One prevented incident typically pays for the year.
